Bass Lake Country Lodge 

Set on a lake and built on a small hillside under a grove of trees, experience farm living, mouth-watering food and memories never to be forgotten at our Bass Lake Country Lodge which is situated on a beautiful Bushveld farm off R573, 27.5 km north-west of Cullinan and 30 km north-east of Pretoria.

Our Accommodation 

The Lodge has 18 luxury rooms in four different categories, and can sleep 18 single travellers or 36 guests sharing. 

Both our standard en-suite king rooms and our n-suite Deluxe rooms come with a King sized bed or 2 Single beds.

Each of our Deluxe en-suite suites has a lounge area with a coffee station and a mini bar, and consist of 2 bedrooms with either a King sized bed or two single beds.  
    
To ensure more privacy, all our Executive suites are separate from the other guest rooms, and each has an en-suite double bedroom as well as a seating area with a coffee station and a mini bar. 

If you want to stay closer to nature stay at our fabulous Bass Lake Caravan Park which is only a few 100 metres away.

Whether it is Bass or Trout fishing, game watching, bird spotting, nature walks, a romantic picnic as well as padel boating, swimming in our pool or relaxing with a drink in our bar with beautiful lake views, you are spoiled for choice at our Bass Lake Country Lodge. Your children will love our farm animals and the jungle gym. 

Our Restaurant 

You are in for a treat with the meals prepared by our Executive Chef Spencer Sykes who is also the owner of our on-site restaurant, Spencer’s. His passion for cooking is not only evident in his meticulous way of plating but also in the exquisite flavour of his food. From his mouth-watering breakfasts and café style lunches to fine dining dinners every plate is a feast for the eyes and the tummy. And our delicious cakes are just as devine.

The Bass Lake Country Lodge has always been praised for its tasty meals. In the past, a set menu was the only option, but we now offer an à la carte menu and have expanded our range of ingredients to bring you the best taste in a variety of fresh delicious meals.

Our immaculate conference venues are fully equipped and designed with your comfort in mind, including a generator offering automatic power back-up in case of load shedding.
