Our Accommodation & Facilities
If you want to have a special, unique, unforgettable enrichment of your life, then our Airport Game Lodge should be your destination. Where else will you look at animals in nature when you open the curtains of your wall size window/glass door? - Instead of the door of the room across the passage.
We aim to be quiet and peaceful, although occasionally there is a genuine South African Braai (barbecue) with face painting and African dancing. Relax at our lovely swimming pool area or on the covered wrap-around patio.

Be it Yoga or fitness, it is in the fresh open air amongst trees and with small wild animals in front of you, at your pace.
The Highveld is 1.4 km above sea level. That means that there is that amount less atmosphere, which makes star gazing simply amazing when facing the Milky Way.
Stay for a few days and explore this exceptionally interesting area of our planet by doing some exclusive tours which are very conveniently based right here at Airport Game Lodge, e.g. to the Cradle of Humankind (various hominoid ancestral species - best information worldwide), safaris to professional wildlife sanctuaries (elephants to touch or observing cheetahs when at 120 km/h with 7 metre strides) or the Pilanesberg Game Reserve in a volcanic crater, or visit a diamond museum (after going 763 metres down into a "live" diamond mine from which the biggest diamond ever was mined) or absorb the gold rush of the 1880's by visiting a gold mine. And there are also several very nice golf courses nearby.
Our friendly and helpful team at the reception is here to assist you with all your requirements.

About the Area
The tranquil fishing village of Arniston is approimately 210 kilometres from Cape Town, at the Indian Ocean coast of South Africa. There are pristine white sandy beaches, dotted with rock pools to explore. Prehistoric fish traps made by the Khoisan strandlopers (beach walkers) still remain along the coastline. These stone built enclosures trap fish at high tide. Arniston, the village of Kassiesbaai boasts iconic white washed, thatched roof fishermans' cottages, and the surrounds offer much for the curious and adventurous alike, and with our extensive knowledge of the area we gladly offer you advice on what to see and do.
