Bloukrans Bungy - Face Adrenalin
Are you ready to Bungy or Sky Walk Africa's highest bridge on South Africa's Garden Route with Bloukrans Bungy-Face Adrenalin? Situated at the Khoisan Village, Tsitsikamma Forest Village Market, you'll find us just 40 km east of Plettenberg Bay near Nature's Valley along the N2. We offer you the ultimate thrill, the Bloukrans Bungy, which is recognized by the Guinness World Records as the wolrdwide highest Bungy Jump from a bridge.
The view from the Bloukrans bridge captures all the majesty and tranquillity of the Bloukrans River Valley but there’s nothing more exciting than throwing yourself more than 200 metres down towards the river below. The Bungy Jump takes place from the top of the bridge arch. To get out to the jump point we send you out on a zipline from the bank to the arch. From there, it’s time for you to jump - the worlds best bungy!
We are here to give you the most amazing Bungy Jumping experience of your life! by keeping you safe. Secured in a full body harness combined with a separate ankle connection to the bungy cord, Bloukrans utilizes pendulum bungy technology ensuring the smoothest, most comfortable bungy jump possible. After the initial freefall, you are pulled into a giant pendulum motion and then into the big rebound.
According to our motto "Fear is temporarily, regret is forever!" - Are YOU ready to face your fears and bungy with us?
Two more unique experiences happen in order to get you back to land. First of all, we offer you a winch ride back up to the top of the arch after your jump. Then you get to walk the suspended skywalk back off the bridge. The walkway is bolted to the underside of the road deck 216 meters above the Bloukrans River with spectacular views and a final exposure to the full height of the bridge.
For guests or spectators there are spectacular view sites to watch the Bungy Jumping from. Should you wish to accompany friends or family who are jumping, you can sign up for a "bungy buddy" experience. This will enable you to accompany the jump group and get up close and personal with the action on the bridge.
Alternatively, join our SkyWalk Tour which is designed to cater to everyone. It gives you an opportunity to experience more about of the Bungy Jumping operation and learn about the construction of the bridge. The SkyWalk starts with some general information and an awe inspiring view of the Bloukrans River Gorge and the massive expanse of the arch bridge where the Bungy takes place.
The tour then moves to the museum. Here you will learn more about the history of Bloukrans Bungy Jumping operation and its influence on Bungy Jumping in Southern Africa. We also delve into the amazing engineering used to build this mega structure. Included in the tour is the exhilarating experience of walking on the suspended walkway 216 meters above the Bloukrans River. It is bolted to the underside of the road deck and leads out to the top of the arch where the Bungy Jumping takes place.
For those brave enough we offer an optional “lean out”. This entails having a full body harness fitted, connecting to two safety lines and stepping up to the edge of the bridge. Whilst secured to the safety lines, you get the chance to lean out over the edge.
We are open every day throughout the year and operate under all weather conditions except gale force winds or thunderstorms.

Alternatively, come and explore the Namib desert as well as the Atlantic ocean with our affiliate companies Sandwich Harbour 4x4 and Catamaran Charters.
4x4 selfdrive adventure: Pomona & Bogenfels - 2 days with overnight. This guided two-day overnight selfdrive adventure in a 4x4 is well-suited for those who wish to explore the fascinating desert to the south of Lüderitz in the comfort of their own vehicle, combined with an overnight camping in one of the deserted ghost towns ensconced deep in diamond history.
We will meet you at your accommodation, do a short briefing after which we'll drive to a control point at Kolmanskop for registration and proceed to the entrance gate of the Tsau //Kaeb National Park. From their we will pass the site where the a sparkling gem was found that set off the diamond rush to the area. Onwards towards the first dunes and along the former railway line that linked Kolmanskop with Pomona and Bogenfels more than a 100 years ago. The remnants of old sidings where materials were offloaded in support of mining activities bear testimony to the harsh conditions in which prospectors and miners operated in this forbidden area. Driving onward through the diverse desert terrain and vegetation your guide will chat about the fascinating mysteries of the time. Heading towards the coast where old buildings and the remains of a desalination plant can be viewed. Late afternoon we will set up camp and start a fire for supper at the ghost town of Pomona. The abandoned houses of this mining settlement make picturesque subjects to photograph. Enjoy fabulous stargazing with possible visits of hyenas and jackals. On day 2 we will explore the diamond area and visit the Dome cave before reaching the majestic, 55 metres tall Bogenfels arch above the rugged coast.
Bogenfels and Diamonds Excursion - 9 hours. Join us for a guided day-tour from Luderitz southwards through the Sperrgebiet, stopping at ghost towns where desert sands have built up and attempted to reclaim their land, causing roofs to fall in and walls to crumble. The highlight of the tour is Bogenfels, a massive rock arch that straddles the coastline and sea, comparable to a 20-storey building. The desert around Luderitz is steeped in diamond history. Tales of diamond smuggling and intrigue abound, and the sands cover and uncover remnants of the lives of those intrepid folk who ventured into this remote arid region to live in the small mining towns scattered amongst the gravel plains of Namibia's Diamond Coast.
E-Bay Diamond History Excursion - approx. 4 hours. Often forgotten in the shadow of its ghost town counterpart Kolmanskop, Elizabeth Bay was another lucrative diamond mining town that is worth exploring. It feels closer to urban exploration, and its decrepit buildings and machinery tell of a dark, greedy history. E-Bay was developed between 1924 and 1926, with a number of engineers, technicians, hundreds of artisans from Germany and local workers recruited to build the plant. All materials and every piece of equipment needed had to be transported by railways from Luderitz. After having produced 1.25 million carats of diamonds, the Great Depression caused a complete shutdown in 1931, with the residential part of E-Bay being finally abandoned in 1940. Mining activities at E-Bay thereafter continued on-and-off, with a new owner taking over the mine in 2021.
Upon arrival at E-Bay we conduct a tour through the abandoned village area and visit the extensive separation plant as well as view the remains of a huge entertainment hall and casino overlooking the ocean. The village also contrasts rows of housing for miners, and large, overcrowded sleeping quarters for local workers. We view the south-facing bay and discuss the historic role of Possession island recognisable in the distance in early diamond mining and guano harvesting. You are encouraged to also explore the remains of the village on foot to take advantage of spectacular photographic motives, or just to reminisce about the past. Coffee, tea and biscuits will be served at the house of the mine manager, where you can study static informational displays.

Indigo Safaris
Scuba specialist Indigo Safaris has a wide range of off-the-shelf and tailor-made dive trips in Mozambique as well as island stays with some excellent deals.
A small, owner-operated company promoting ethical tourism with a strong focus on conservation and two decades of experience, we know the best accommodation in each area and price range. We have explored the length of Mozambique's coast and its archipelagos.
About Mozambique
Mozambique is an exceptional destination for beaches, island paradise, and scuba diving along more than 2000 km of almost unspoilt coastline. We have our focus on beach and dive stays in this beautiful country.
As already mentioned, Mozambique's never ending and totally unspoiled coastline is stunning and there a few nice places to stay and enjoy it from on the mainland. However, the focus for beach stays in Mozambique lies on the Archipelagos, which are the Bazaruto Archipelago just off the cost of Vilanculos in the south and the Qurimba Archipelago of the coast of Pemba in the north.
In addition to the Archipelagos there are few more places to highlight, like the Machangulo Peninsular which can be reached from Maputo and is an easy accessible and affordable option, plus a few places around Ponta do Oura, located right at the border with South Africa, which is a good place to look at for a beach extension after a safari in South Africas Kwazulu Natal region.
Another great spot that is often overlooked is the lively town of Tofo in the south. Tofo is however most suitable for a more active beach stay, so for someone who would like to dive or surf as well and who also wants some options to go out in the evening.
There are three main airports that serve the areas mentioned. Maupto, the capital city located in the very south of the country, Vilanculos, the gateway for the Bazaruto Archipelago and at the moment also for Tofo and Pemba, the gateway for the Quirimbas. Most flights will go via Johannesburg. The south of Mozambique can also be reached by road from South Africa.
Indigo Safaris

About Tanzania
With over 38% of its territory declared national park, game reserve, or conservation area land, Tanzania is home to some of the best game-viewing parks in Africa.
In the north there is the legendary Ngorongoro Crater and it's 30,000 hooved mammals, the Serengeti's amazing migration of around two million wildebeest, zebra, Grant's and Thomson's gazelles, to the lesser known, nearby parks of picturesque Tarangire National Park with its annual elephant migration in the dry season, and Lake Manyara National Park with it's birdlife, tree-climbing lions and elephants.
In the south there are the giant Selous Game Reserve, Nyerere National Park and Ruaha National Park.
In the west Katavi National Park is almost never visited despite plentiful lions and huge buffalo and hippo herds, and Mahale Mountains National Park offers what it probably the best primate encounter going.
As well as safaris, Northern Tanzania also has some world-class treks: with some excellent less-used routes up the well-known and popular (possibly too popular) Mount Kilimanjaro to the roof of Africa at Uhuru peak, some 5895 metres above sea level, and the lower (4566 metres) but steeper Mount Meru. In addition to all this, we can also organise trips or donkey treks to across the Ngorongoro highlands to Empakai Crater and through the Rift Valley to Lake Natron.
And then there are the stunning, exotic Tanzanian Indian Ocean Islands, just off the coast of Tanzania, which are fantastic for beach extensions after your safari, as well as for stand alone beach holidays combined with cultural explorations, snorkelling and diving.

On Le Bonheur animal’s free choice is paramount and all our reptile experiences are PAPA approved.
Our great wide, tranquil dam is stocked with bass and tilapia (but no crocodiles!) and great for bass fishing. Cast a line from one of several jetties or take a jaunt in our rowboat. Fringed by willows and set against a spectacular mountain backdrop, the dam is popular among experienced anglers and novices alike. This is bass fishing with a view! We can also arrange an in-depth lesson with a professional fishing guide. If fishing is not your thing we also offer Stand Up Paddling (SUP - ages 15 and up) and row boating for all ages.
With real crocodiles, pizzas and play areas galore - not to mention loads of fresh air - our premises are ideal for kids parties with four different venues to choose from (both outdoors and indoors). You can decide whether you’d like to cater for yourself or if we should do it. We also offer exciting school outings which are a result of our passion to foster an awareness and appreciation of reptiles among South Africans.
Our Restaurant
In our fully licensed lakeview restaurant, wood-fired pizzas are made the Italian way, as well as a variety of classic but unpretentious light meals, served by our friendly team. Depending on the weather, you can choose to enjoy your meal on the gorgeous lakeside balcony, in the waterside garden near the play area or in the temperature-controlled main hall.
With its rolling lawns, whimsical willows and bobbing ducks, you can’t beat our waterfront garden. Our picnic hampers are great for one or two adults, and we offer special hampers for kids as well. What’s more, you’ll all enjoy free fishing.
Bring and Braai (grill) your own meal and rent one of our delightful waterside barbecue spots. We welcome small families and much larger groups, and we’re flexible about the logistics too.

Our Rafting Trips
Rafting in KwaZulu-Natal takes place on the Umzimkulu river, just outside Port Shepstone, 1.5 hours from Durban on the KZN south coast. The Umzimkulu river has mainly grade 1 and grade 2 rapids, but also boasts a couple of grade 3 challenges, which step up to grade 4 rapids if there has been sufficient rain. The section is regarded as one of the biggest traversable white water south of the Zambezi!
A 45 minutes drive from Johannesburg, rafting in Gauteng takes place on the Crocodile river, with base at the Lion & Safari Park near Hartbeespoort Dam on R512 where you can also enjoy some game viewing.
This is the River Rafting trip that we do for individuals, families and groups (like birthday parties or bachelor parties) as well as corporates. This outdoor adventure is fine for complete novices who have NEVER even paddled before.
Rafting will be in an inflatable two-man canoe, so you will we in control of your own boat. Be prepared for a bit of work-out as you will be paddling your own boat. At all times the trip and paddlers will adopt a safety first, safety always and NO compromise mindset, with a when in doubt, get out rule and NO alcohol on the river.
We can basically take trips on any day - weekdays or weekends, as long as there is sufficient water in the river, and we have at least 4 people for that trip.
