Blyde River Canyon Lodge 

Set alongside the sparkling waters of the Blyde River, or Blyde River Canyon Lodge is a hidden jewel and affectionately sheltered by the majestic northern Drakensberg Mountains. The lodge offers local and international travellers a unique African bush experience in a botanical reserve, which boasts a wealth of fauna and flora. We not only offer you a magical holiday getaway, but also provide a home away from home for discerning professionals who regularly stay at our lodge when they have business engagements in the area. 

Our Accommodation 

Our four star accommodation offers a blend of Victorian and African decor and comprises of six guest rooms, one honeymoon suite and a luxury, 2-bedroomed cottage. All units offer air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms and satellite television. Each room leads out onto the tranquil gardens with a pool where zebra, wildebeest and other wild game wander by. 

Recreational activities include taking a relaxing stroll to the Blyde River. Savour the ambience of the bushveld under the canopy of ancient, majestic Jackalberry trees whose shade cascades over the natural lawn areas. 

Full English breakfasts are served daily and delicious cuisine is available on request for lunch and dinner.
