Our Accommodation 

We are sure that after your short or long journey to Knysna on South Africa's stunning Garden Route you will be more than ready for a cup of tea, coffee, glass of wine or a cold beer. Sit and relax for a few minutes and get to know your hosts, previous owners and now managers. You will be introduced to all that the town and the surrounding areas have to offer. 

The recently renovated guest house has 7 well-appointed en-suite double or single rooms ranging from Executive with lagoon view to Standard without lagoon view and providing every modern convenience you may need, including NETFLIX and a complimentary tea/coffee tray which is refilled daily. 

For the business traveller - and all other visitors to Hide Away - our complimentary uncapped, high speed Wi-Fi is available in all areas. 

Chill out by the small swimming pool or watch the sun set from the veranda with a glass of wine and possibly catch a glimpse of the elusive Knysna Lourie (a turaco). The town centre and the Knysna waterfront are within easy walking distance - approximately 1.5 km. Safe, secure off-street parking caters for most vehicles including an 18 seater mini bus and trailer. 

With numerous restaurants and coffee shops in the area you will be spoilt for choice and this after enjoying an excellent breakfast in the dining room overlooking the Knysna Estuary. 

Activities 

Amazing beaches where you can walk or run for kilometres, or just take in the sunshine. As for the Knysna forests that surround our town, there are many hiking trails as well as mountain bike routes to discover - so bring your bicycle along or you can hire one here in town on arrival. 

If you are needing any reservations to be made for either activities or restaurants, these will be dealt with quickly and efficiently.
