Activities
We offer exclusive kayak tours to two destinations. If the weather permits, we take you out to Halifax Island, where the African Jack-Ass penguins can be observed from the water side. It is believed that Halifax Island is the most northern breeding point on the African Coast for these penguins. En route it is also possible to see the African oyster catchers and Heaviside's dolphins.
Our second option is to paddle through the first and second lagoon where the Luderitz Oysters industry can be observed from close up, and birds like the Flamingo or African Oystercatcher can be seen.

There are five double bed/twin bed and family units, self-catering open-plan cottages in a tranquil garden, for people who like to do their own thing. Each room features an en-suite bathroom, a fully supplied kitchen, barbecue amenities, a television, and air-conditioning and heating. In the gardens, there are two self-catering open-plan cottages with double beds, barbecue equipment, and a wonderful stoepveranda.
The Family Cottage is excellent for a group of friends or a family. There are three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with two single beds, all with en-suite bathrooms, and can accommodate a total of six people.
Honeymooners can stay the night in our Romantic honeymoon suite, which comes with fresh flowers and complimentary sparkling wine. Our chef Zita would be glad to demonstrate how to make some of Mozambique's most famous meals. Allow her to take you to the market to select the ingredients you'll need, as well as demonstrate how to make your own coconut milk and put everything together for a delicious meal (3 to 5 hours).

We provide quality accommodation in Stellenbosch on our Clos Malverne Wine Estate, ensuring the comfort and well-being of all our guests.
Our 9 luxurious guest rooms make for the perfect base to explore Stellenbosch and the Cape Winelands which are approximately 50 km away from Cape Town's city centre and a 30-minute drive from Cape Town International Airport. Each stylishly decorated and air-conditioned room reflects our beautiful surroundings and is equipped with flat screen TV and satellite channels, free Wi-Fi and a spacious bathroom.
If you prefer self-catering then our guest cottage is the perfect choice which is situated at the bottom of the estate and 200 metres from our luxury guest rooms. In the air-conditioned cottage you will experience a distinct atmosphere, an air of tranquillity and charm not readily found today. It boasts 2 bedrooms, each with its own full en-suite bathroom and extra length King size beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a lounge with fireplace, a patio with barbecue area and front veranda with breathtaking views. A flat screen TV with satellite channels, Wi-Fi and free parking are also available. Enjoy the clear splash pool at the bottom of our wine estate. Breakfast is not included but is available for an additional cost at the fabulous on-site restaurant. Bookings are essential.

Situated at the top of our wine estate is the main pool which can be enjoyed by all guests. The guesthouse also has a spa and wellness centre as well as free private parking on site.
