Our Accommodation 

As with anywhere else, the key ingredients to a luxury break in Paternoster are the accommodation and location. We're situated in a dreamy spot with minimal vehicle or foot traffic and vast, unbroken sea views. Given our idyllic position, our guests have private access to a beautiful patch of indigenous Strandveld, which leads directly onto Bek Bay Beach. 

The guesthouse interior is characterised by functional sensibility and mellow elegance. Guest amenities include an intimacy lounge, honesty cocktail bar, a small leisure library, a beauty treatment room and complimentary afternoon tea. If you prefer time in the sun without a warm sea breeze on your skin, relax on a lounger next to our court yard pool.  

Each of our 6 en-suite guest rooms is dressed to reflect its own distinctive décor personality. Room features and amenities include percale cotton linens, air conditioning, electric blankets, DSTV stay essential package, free Wi-Fi, a tea and coffee station, mini fridge as well as a hairdryer. We also provide bathrobes, slippers and locally sourced bathroom products. 

Dining 

Expect some of the most spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean while enjoying freshly prepared breakfast on the upstairs indoor-outdoor terrace area. We serve a cold selection of homemade muesli, creamy yoghurt and honey, fresh-baked bread or croissants with preserves, and cheese and ham. This is followed by a hot daily special, which often includes South African specialities such as our snoek (fish found off the West Coast) omelette, or you can opt for a hearty English breakfast. 

After a day of sightseeing, lazing at the beach, or languishing at our guesthouse plunge pool, you can help yourself to complimentary coffee, tea and confectionaries. Afternoon tea is served from 16:00 upstairs in the guesthouse lounge. For lunch and dinner, our Paternoster Dunes Guesthouse is within easy strolling distance of the central village harbour and an array of restaurants and eateries.
