Wide glass doors open onto spacious decks where you can relax on a shady daybed, enjoy al fresco lunches or, if yours is a premium suite, take a dip in your own private plunge pool.

The Shipwreck Lodge

Our split-level holiday house offers beautiful self-catering accommodation in Pomene. Relax on the long sandy beach on our doorstep or in our two entertainment areas with barbecue, splash pool and massage room.
Our Accommodation
Our beach lodge consists of two levels. The top level has an open-plan, fully equipped kitchen, dining table and lounge suite. Outside is a large deck with 2 deck chairs, a deck outlook area with 6 chairs as well as a coffee table. Situated next to the deck area are two large double rooms with en-suite bathrooms.
The large entertainment area on the bottom level comprises a lounge area and a bar area with DSTV (satellite TV) and a dart board. Adjacent to this area is a single bedroom sharing a bathroom with the entertainment area.
Under the deck, there is a barbecue and second open entertainment area. Beside this area there are two more rooms each with 3/4 bunk beds and a shared bathroom.
For a small extra fee, enjoy a massage done by one of the local ladies at our bottom level. During your stay the local ladies will supply fresh pao/bread rolls, coconut bread and in-season fruit and vegetables on a daily basis. Depending on weather conditions the local fishermen also bring in their fresh catch, ranging from fish, cray fish, crabs and prawns to other seafood, on request.
Thobeka Lodge & Safaris
Set amongst big shady trees in a peaceful rural setting in Kosi Bay, our rustic and authentic self-catering Thobeka Lodge epitomises simplicity where there are no frills but genuine African bush living in harmony with nature.
The bar is, as it should be, packed with cold beers, and sofas or a hammock or two so you can kick back and enjoy. Beside the bar is our swimming pool should you wish to take a dip and cool off, not far from yet another cold beer. Our braai/barbecue area is also located next to the pool and about three steps from the bar so you can have a barbecue, take a dip in the pool, a swig of your beer and embrace the freedom that Thobeka offers you.
Local amenities are in close proximity to our child-friendly African bush lodge where you can purchase food products and African souvenirs. A petrol station, a pharmacy and an ATM are also in the vicinity.
Our Accommodation
Providing self-catering accommodation in true African style, we offer twin rooms, double rooms, dormitories and family rooms. All guest rooms are built according to the Zulu tradition and connected by wooden walkways which allow you the privacy and space to kick back and enjoy uninterrupted relaxation time. Each room offers comfortable beds, mosquito nets and fans for those warm lazy afternoons and balmy African evenings. On the other hand, the wooden walkways lead to a fully fitted and well-stocked kitchen for self-catering, to hot showers and toilets, as well as to our swimming pool.
We also offer camping sites for tents, with electrical points, communal bathrooms, a kitchenette and barbecue facilities. Overnight facilities are available for roof tent campers, bush trailers and camper vans.
Evenings at Thobeka are reliant upon what you wish to experience. You could either sit or dance around the fire, beat your African drum, tell stories, have a kitchen party or relax and gaze at the twinkling African night sky and listen to the sound of nature.

Tsitsikamma Village Inn
Welcome to village life! Established in 1946, our Tsitsikamma Village Inn is a historic hotel in Storms River, offering scenic accommodation on the Garden Route of South Africa. Our hotel has served as a stop-over for travellers for more than a century and is situated right in Storms River village which is tucked away in the lush Tsitsikamma forest, close to Storms River Mouth within the Tsitsikamma National Park.

Uis White Lady Guesthouse & Camp Site
Enjoy the quiet atmosphere at our Uis White Lady Guest House and Camp Site which is ideally situated on the C36 and your little oasis or half way house accommodation in Namibia, on route between the Etosha pan and the coast at the Atlantic Ocean. We are just 35 km from the Brandberg with the famous White Lady rock painting. We can be reached with a normal Sedan car. Self driving trips can be made to the White Lady.
Our Accommodation
Our accommodation consist of thatched roof guest rooms on the bed and breakfast side and a corrugated roof on the guesthouse side. We have 13 air-conditioned en-suite rooms in total comprising of double/twin, family and triple rooms. All room rates are on a B&B basis.
We can cater for groups of 8+ guests for dinner (to be reserved one month in advance).
If you prefer to stay in the great outdoors, stay at our campsite which offers an ablution block with warm/cold showers and toilets as well as electrical points at all sites and trees which provide much needed shade on those sunny Namibian days here in the Erongo region. Groups and individual self drivers are welcome and need to bring their own tents. At an additional cost, campers may have breakfast at the thatched Lapa. Please reserve on arrival.

On the Johannesburg side, this popular accommodation in Beaufort West is ideally positioned right off the N1 or N12, 1km from the charming Great Karoo town. The lovely Wagon Wheel Country Lodge's dignity has been restored by the current owners, who have also updated all of the deluxe rooms.

Our Area
Named the Land of abundance, Balfour is located south east of Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve, just off the R23 that leaves the N3 north of Heidelberg and heads into the South African province of Mpumalanga, Balfour nestled in a region given over mostly to farms, game farms and bushveld. Balfour is a small coal mining and maize farming town originally called McHattiesburg after the man who founded it, Frederick McHattie. This was later changed and named for the British Prime Minister of the time. It is called Cosmos Country because it is this area that annually explodes with varying pink and white cosmos flowers during autumn, a breath-taking sight for any visitor.
