Kabwe Safari Lodge

Kabwe Safari Lodge

The number one to eat and sleep in Kabwe, our child-friendly Kabwe Safari Lodge provides you with a bush experience outside of the bush. Featuring a variety of affordable rooms and chalets, you can be sure to find the perfect spot to rest and relax in Zambia. Jump into our pool to cool-off after a hot day or enjoy a meal at our restaurant, offering traditional and modern dishes alike.

We are situated just a stone’s throw from the vibrant town center. Although we do not feature wild animals at the lodge, you can be sure to feel a relaxing and natural bushveld vibe the moment you enter our place. And if you ever want to go for a trip to nearby national parks, you’ve just found the perfect spot to start your journey in Zambia.

Our Accommodation

Our executive suites are our most luxurious guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Center piece is the big bed, which is almost of a square size and can easily fit two. The spacious rooms come with personal fridge, satellite television, a desk, and one of the suites has a loung seating area as well.

Our classic suites offer a rich accommodation experience on a budget. Perfect for couples or the more demanding business traveller, they have everything you will expect such as en-suite bathrooms, a larger double bed, a laptop-friendly workspace and of course a TV. The honeymoon suite even features an outside bathtub and a shower, where you can enjoy a bath in a confined space of walls without anyone watching.

Our classic flats offer more space than anyone might ever need and are perfect for longer rentals or for guests with a lot of luggage. Along with the king size bed they offer a large lounge area where an additional 1 or 2 guests could sleep, as well as a kitchen with microwave and stovetop to prepare basic meals. Did you know that the founder of Zambia once slept in one of the flats? That's why some guests prefer to call it the presidential suite.

Our junior suites are our budget-friendly en-suite rooms, perfect for a nights stayover or for business travellers to the Kabwe area. But don’t think you will get anything less comfortable than in the other rooms. They also have a TV and a desk. If you are comfortable with living under a thatched roof, you will feel incredibly cozy in one of these suites.

Our safari suites have the most interesting layout and are housed in a large chalet with two floors. On the ground floor you can find the usual amenities. Up the ladder you will find an additional bed.

Our en-suite family units are the right choice not only for families but to people travelling on a budget, since the room price can be split. We offer both chalet style family suites as well as family rooms with the usual amenities. Pick your favorite!

The right choice for travellers who are just stopping by for a night and are on a budget, our permanent roof tent, which usually sits on a car, is set up on poles to accomodate up to two guests comfortably. Although it does not come with an en-suite bathroom we provide outside showers and bathrooms.

Our Facilities

At Kabwe Safari Lodge, we offer you a variety of different styles of food. Enjoy traditional meals such as Lumanda, Ifisashi or Impwa but also our main courses from the grill, including a variety of meats, fresh fish as well as chicken and quail. On top of that, we serve affordable starters, sandwiches as well as vegetarian and vegan options. Enjoy your meals from our main restaurant, the lounge, from the insaka near the pool or in the garden area. While the main restaurant can fit up to 30 guests, our lodge has a total seating capacity of around 62, excluding the bar.

Are you looking to take out your besties for an afternoon or evening to Kabwe Safari Lodge? Do you need catering for your small wedding party or conference? We got you covered. For larger groups, we can arrange a special menu too.

Kalahari Red Dunes Lodge

Kalahari Red Dunes Lodge

From the central plateau of Namibia, the lovely Kalahari stretches to the east with its long red dune chains and valleys made of camel thorn trees. It extends deep into neighboring Botswana.

Here in the dune and savannah landscape of the west, wooden walkways lead to the chalets, which blend into the landscape on the banks of the Vleis. From the main house and the chalets you have a good view of the waterhole in the dry lake, where wild animals can often be found. Whether hiking, mountain biking or guided sundown drives in the Kalahari, 200 km south of Namibia's capital Windhoek, lies the Kalahari Red Dunes Lodge. The small, luxurious lodge with 12 chalets offers a high degree of space and privacy for the guest. The main building, which houses the restaurant, the cozy lounge with fireplace, the bar and the pool with sun terrace, is built on an island in a dry lake, a so-called vlei.

The lodge offers variety for active people. The experienced, attentive Lodge team is looking forward to crowning a wonderful day with the 5-course menu in the evening.

Our Accommodation

Eleven lovingly and individually designed guest rooms offer a high degree of space and privacy.

The superior house is bigger than all the others. The room layout is spacious and designed to allow viewing to be experienced from 3 different levels. Large windows and folding doors make it possible to experience nature in the Vlei, to observe the animals at the nearby waterhole and to enjoy the view of the African savannah landscape of the Kalahari. The outside terrace, which is protected from view, not only invites you to rest and relax, but also to take a shower in the open air. Elegant and modern, this house is in a class of its own.
