Situated en route to eSwatini and the South African Lowveld, our child-friendly Izimbali Lodge and Restaurant offers you a unique and stylishly decorated, world-class accomodation in Ermelo. Being a part of the Mystery Route through our town, within the Mpumalanga province, our guesthouse epitomises a truly historic and mysterious past.

Our Accommodation 

With a maximum capacity of 56 guests, our 4 star guesthouse features 28 fully serviced, spacious guest suites, as well as a fully equipped conference centre. Each of the private rooms is beautifully decorated in an unique African style and luxuriously styled for your comfort and relaxation. Double rooms are available with 2 single beds or one King size bed. Some units have a kitchenette and a dining area for those who wish to cater for themselves. 

We also offer guests a peaceful outer garden setting with Braai (barbeque) areas and children's play areas, a bar, dining in our superb, fully-licensed à la carte restaurant - our meals are legendary amongst both locals and visitors!, as well as a laundry service, credit card facilities and parking. 

Our Izimbali Lodge also hosts quality functions and events. These include conferences, weddings and receptions, and much more. Activities and attractions in the area include a mysterious Heritage Site, the Legoya Huts, ancient bushmen sites, a natural hot springs spa and various cultural attractions.
