Blyde River Wilderness Lodge

Surrounded by the majestic northern Drakensberg mountains, the thatched Blyde River Wilderness Lodge nestles on the banks of the tranquil Blyde River and is set in a private reserve, in an area famous for its panoramic scenery, rich bird life, fauna and flora. It offers travellers a unique bush experience whilst soaking up the beauty of the natural surroundings here at the famous Panorama Route of the Mpumalanga/Limpopo Provinces near Hoedspruit, and a 50-minute drive to the Orpen Gate of the Kruger National Park.

Places of water are places of life - Not only are the water courses of the Blyde River Wilderness Lodge well populated with hippos and crocodiles, the reserve is also home to giraffes, nyalas, impalas, Wildebeests, zebras, different bucks, bushpigs and warthogs. The towering Drakensberg provides a canvas for nature to capture a masterpiece with each sunrise. This is your opportunity to escape and relax in a serene, peaceful environment.
