Some of our guests have actually spent their first day here doing nothing but sitting on their patios or in the garden, reading or just having a refreshing drink in the relaxing atmosphere.

Make use of our other facilities which include a swimming pool area, a bird watching deck at the dam, a bar, a guest lounge and the breakfast room.

Upon request we gladly cater for groups for lunches and dinners apart from the usual breakfast.

Hotel Pension Rapmund

Hotel Pension Rapmund

Our accommodation in Swakopmund was established in 1968 by the Rapmund Family. As from 2008 the new owners Sonja and Enjo Mueller have been operating Hotel Pension Rapmund in Swakopmund on a family oriented basis.

From here, all of Swakopmund's sights can be reached on foot, whether you want to go to the old jetty or to the sandy beach (Mole), visit the museum or simply take a little stroll through town. Many of the best bars and restaurants can also be reached on foot within a few minutes. There is so much to do in our seaside resort, that if you so choose, your day will be filled with overwhelming thrills and fun!

Our Accommodation

We offer excellent service and very reasonable accommodation prices. Choose between 16 comfortable and cozy en-suite twin rooms. Five of these rooms are on the second floor with ocean views from the balcony. We also offer 4 ocean view rooms that face the Atlantic Ocean. There is a small communal kitchen with a coffee bar and refrigerator in the hallway.

And there is our luxury gallery room for two, with a private sun terrace, as well as four family apartments.

Our hearty "German" breakfast has gained a reputation which stretches beyond the borders of Namibia. You will be enjoying your breakfast, with a view of the ocean, in a friendly and personalized atmosphere.

Our very central location will make your stay relaxing and comfortable. We are a short walk from the beach and a mere 2 minute walk from the town centre where you can enjoy shopping for souvenirs or indulge in the local cuisine at one of the numerous restaurants.
