We provide a fantastic diving experience in Mozambique, as well as other outdoor activities such as snorkelling and hiking. At our expert on-site dive center Blowing Bubbles Diving, choose from relaxing diving, diving classes, or something unique like underwater photography and shark diving, or relax in our resort accommodation

We also collaborate with a number of diving schools in South Africa and Maputo, so please inquire if you'd like to finish your dive course before coming to us and require us to connect you with a dive school or instructor.

Some of Our Outings

Due to its remarkable high wall topography, the 3 Sisters is one of the most popular diving destinations. Angler fish, Garden Eels, Crocodile fish, Egg shell shrimps, and a giant resident Honeycomb Eel, as well as many various varieties of Nudibranchs, make this an excellent place for all types of photography.

The Anchor is a spectacular ledge with Trumpet fish, Royal angelfish (exclusive to this site), and the odd sighting of the local Grey reef shark, as well as an abundance of anenomes.

For the more experienced diver, the Atlantis dive brings you to a reef. For its large symmetrical rectangular blocks, it's also known as Lego Land. Black coral, green coral tree, Spanish dancers, Sea Apples, and, of course, sharks of various varieties such as the Tiger, Hammerhead, and Bull sharks, to name a few.

The Blacks dive takes you to a Macro Photography-friendly cleaning station. Black Cheek eels, Pipe fish, and Leaf fish abound in this area.

Because of its depth and variety of juvenile and adult fish species, the Crèche is a great first-time sea diver's delight. It is well-known for its large Stone fish. Fantastic reef for photography.

Doodles is a world-famous dive location known for its abundance of friendly Potato Bass, which provide the diver with a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with them. Manta rays, game fish, at least eight different species of rays, Ghost Pipe fish, Angler fish, and Devil Fire fish all call this place home. The abundant shoals of Snapper and Dusky Sweepers are a highlight. This is a dive site that you must include to your logbook.

The natural beauty of soft and hard corals and sponges, as well as the vibrant turtle life and geometry of gulleys and ledges, make the Drop Zone a must-see.

The Pinnacles is a world-famous shark diving location. Up to 9 shark species can be seen while diving with wild sharks - no baited diving)! Tiger, Bull, Blacktip, Silvertip, Dusky, Spinners, Java, Leopard, Grey Reef, and the lovely Hammerheads. On every dive, divers report seeing five different shark species. This spot is world class, with resident potato bass, Eagle and Devil Rays, and an abundance of game fish. It is a definite must for your log book.

The Steps is a fantastic drift dive on a 1.5-kilometer-long reef with an incredible diversity of caverns, ledges, and fish species. A photographer's dream come true.

Enya's Travel Adventures

Enya's Travel Adventures in Southern Africa

Born and raised in Germany, I developed a deep fascination for Africa already as a child because of the popular African wildlife show of Bernhard Grzimek broad-casted on German TV.

After emigrating from Germany to South Africa in 1995 I spent the first 2 years exploring every corner of South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe in my 32-year-old Land Rover. My travels brought me deep inside the endless deserts of Namibia, into the wilderness areas of the Okavango Delta and the Chobe National Park in Botswana and to the spectacular Victoria Falls. Adventure is in my blood, so I bungee jumped from the bridge over the Zambezi and tackled the white waters of this wild river more than once.

In between my travels to remote places I became a scuba diving instructor and opened a dive travel operation in Cape Town. To this day, my clientele demands thrilling underwater experiences and my customised dive tours take you all the way from Cape Town to Mozambique.

In early 1998 I launched the first Internet portal for adventure travel in Southern Africa and never lost my excitement for travelling Southern Africa, resulting in regular trips into the wilderness of Southern Africa.

My passion for "off the grid" travel has led to guided self-drive tours (tag-along tours) where I guide a group of adventure seeking, nature loving self-drive travellers to the most stunning and remote locations in Southern Africa. Those tours are undertaken in fully equipped 4x4 off road vehicles or on reliable offroad motorbikes .

On request of many of my travel companions I added recently a midi bus to my fleet, which was converted into a spacious touring bus for not more than 10 people offering private groups the option to enjoy the "road trip" together in comfort.

A luxurious Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is the vehicle of choice for smaller groups / individuals who wish to discover the wonders of Africa in style. May it be on a guided day trip around Cape Town, the Cape of Good Hope and the Cape Winelands or during an exclusive off-the-grid adventure into the remote wilderness areas of Southern Africa.

Small Groups

Every single person travelling with me is my personal VIP and that is why there is always a limit of how many people I take on a trip. If it is a guided self drive tour I restrict the number of vehicles coming along to five, if we travel in our comfortable tour bus no more than 10 people will be in the group.

Wildlife, Nature and Culture

My tours focus on the natural beauty, the stunning wildlife and diverse cultures of Africa. We meet the locals, make lifelong memories and share the excitement of an African adventure.

Choice of accommodation

The choice of accommodation depends on where we go and what your budget is. If we go "off-grid", there might not even be a toilet or shower available. On the other hand, there are four to five star lodges offering every bit of luxury you can imagine. The choice is yours !

Everywhere you go in Cape Town are more views and sights to be enjoyed, which all adds up to many accommodation options, depending on your taste and budget and ranging from hotels to bed and breakfasts. Indigo Safaris Mozambique

Indigo Safaris

Scuba specialist Indigo Safaris has a wide range of off-the-shelf and tailor-made dive trips in Mozambique as well as island stays with some excellent deals.

A small, owner-operated company promoting ethical tourism with a strong focus on conservation and two decades of experience, we know the best accommodation in each area and price range. We have explored the length of Mozambique's coast and its archipelagos.

About Mozambique

Mozambique is an exceptional destination for beaches, island paradise, and scuba diving along more than 2000 km of almost unspoilt coastline. We have our focus on beach and dive stays in this beautiful country.

As already mentioned, Mozambique's never ending and totally unspoiled coastline is stunning and there a few nice places to stay and enjoy it from on the mainland. However, the focus for beach stays in Mozambique lies on the Archipelagos, which are the Bazaruto Archipelago just off the cost of Vilanculos in the south and the Qurimba Archipelago of the coast of Pemba in the north.

In addition to the Archipelagos there are few more places to highlight, like the Machangulo Peninsular which can be reached from Maputo and is an easy accessible and affordable option, plus a few places around Ponta do Oura, located right at the border with South Africa, which is a good place to look at for a beach extension after a safari in South Africas Kwazulu Natal region.

Another great spot that is often overlooked is the lively town of Tofo in the south. Tofo is however most suitable for a more active beach stay, so for someone who would like to dive or surf as well and who also wants some options to go out in the evening.

There are three main airports that serve the areas mentioned. Maupto, the capital city located in the very south of the country, Vilanculos, the gateway for the Bazaruto Archipelago and at the moment also for Tofo and Pemba, the gateway for the Quirimbas. Most flights will go via Johannesburg. The south of Mozambique can also be reached by road from South Africa.

Indigo Safaris Tanzania

Indigo Safaris

Scuba specialist Indigo Safaris has a wide range of off-the-shelf and tailor-made dive trips and island stays with some excellent deals.

A small, owner-operated company promoting ethical tourism with a strong focus on conservation and 20 years of experience, we know the best accommodation in each area and price range. Owner & ex-guide Christopher worked on Zanzibar and has done over 800 dives from Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia islands.

About Tanzania

With over 38% of its territory declared national park, game reserve, or conservation area land, Tanzania is home to some of the best game-viewing parks in Africa.

In the north there is the legendary Ngorongoro Crater and it's 30,000 hooved mammals, the Serengeti's amazing migration of around two million wildebeest, zebra, Grant's and Thomson's gazelles, to the lesser known, nearby parks of picturesque Tarangire National Park with its annual elephant migration in the dry season, and Lake Manyara National Park with it's birdlife, tree-climbing lions and elephants.

In the south there are the giant Selous Game Reserve, Nyerere National Park and Ruaha National Park.

In the west Katavi National Park is almost never visited despite plentiful lions and huge buffalo and hippo herds, and Mahale Mountains National Park offers what it probably the best primate encounter going.

As well as safaris, Northern Tanzania also has some world-class treks: with some excellent less-used routes up the well-known and popular (possibly too popular) Mount Kilimanjaro to the roof of Africa at Uhuru peak, some 5895 metres above sea level, and the lower (4566 metres) but steeper Mount Meru. In addition to all this, we can also organise trips or donkey treks to across the Ngorongoro highlands to Empakai Crater and through the Rift Valley to Lake Natron.

And then there are the stunning, exotic Tanzanian Indian Ocean Islands, just off the coast of Tanzania, which are fantastic for beach extensions after your safari, as well as for stand alone beach holidays combined with cultural explorations, snorkelling and diving.

Indigo Safaris Zululand

Indigo Safaris

Having lived and worked in KZN, the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal, as a diving and safari guide since 2004, we have in-depth knowledge of the Zululand safari and scuba scene.

From Protea Banks in the south of the region, up to the border with Mozambique and beyond, we know all the best diving and safari spots, and can arrange tailor-made diving and safari trips and also cover the phenomenal annual Sardine Run.

About Zululand

KwaZulu-Natal, roughly the size of Portugal, has a plethora of attractions and something for everyone. With excellent safari, diving, beaches, historical tours and trekking on offer, this is one of the most diverse areas in South Africa.

The province contains rich areas of biodiversity of a range of flora and fauna. The iSimangaliso Wetland Park and the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Park have been declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites. A number of game reserves offer superb safari opportunities, at lower costs and with less visitors than comparable lodges in the world-renowned Kruger area in the northeast of South Africa.

The narrow lowland region along the Indian Ocean coast has some stunning and often empty beaches and some of the best big fish diving in the world and it's sub-tropical climate makes it an ideal destination year round.

The undulating plateau of the central Natal Midlands and the Battlefields area are loaded with historical sites. The uKhahlamba Drakensberg Mountains form a solid basalt wall rising over 3,000 metres alongside the Lesotho border and offer superb treks and ancient rock art sites, whilst the Lebombo Mountains form a low parallel range of ancient granite running southward from eSwatini.

Our lovely beach house comfortably sleeps 10 people and is ideal for larger families or groups. The large open-plan entertainment area with a fully equipped kitchen overlooks the ocean.

Mseni guests have the opportunity to experience the Sodwana Bay Marine Reserve on a scuba dive. Whether you are an experienced diver, or keen to try it out or qualify, we are happy to assist you and provide complimentary transport for your scuba diving activities.
