Our Facilities
Buccaneers Beach Lodge has certainly touched many souls but far more importantly, many tummies too. We serve amazing meals in convivial dining areas and offer generous portions as well as varied menus. Breakfast, lunch and dinner options are all available every day with excellent veggie alternatives too. In summer our vibrant TV-pool bar serves light lunches and pizzas from an à la carte menu.
On our spacious grounds you will also find a sparkling swimming pool, a beautiful dam, canoes, boogie boards, plenty of birdlife, a volleyball court, a pool table and a ping-pong table as well as a yoga room, chilling spaces, book swap, communal kitchens, parking, night watchmen, a bus stop for backpackers and so much more.

Welcome to Onze Rust Guest House / Caravan Park in Colesberg an oasis in the Karoo halfway to everywhere. Come and enjoy a peaceful, safe and quiet stay at our establishments. We are situated in the upper town in Colesberg. We are placed near an OK Value Supermarket and a Caltex gas station (both also walking distance). Enjoy the breath taking sunset from the western horizon with the famous Coleskop visible from the caravan park and guest house, and a peaceful garden to relax in.
There is no shortage of take-aways, licensed restaurants, tea gardens and coffee shops in town with many tourist attractions and Places to visit in Colesberg.

Accommodation: 5 bedrooms, 2 x Double rooms, 3 x Family rooms. Chalets, Bungalows & Backpackers are in the Caravan Park. The Chalets have a TV unit & en-suite bathrooms. The Backpackers & Bungalows use the ablution blocks with the campers. The Backpackers have no TV units, they can however use the TV unit in the Guest House. The Bungalows have TV facilities.
We serve meals, breakfast, (Packed meals available on request) lunch and supper. Also soft drinks available, inside and outside braai (barbeque) facilities, 24 Hour Service, Lock-up parking at the Guest House.

Thobeka Lodge & Safaris
Set amongst big shady trees in a peaceful rural setting in Kosi Bay, our rustic and authentic self-catering Thobeka Lodge epitomises simplicity where there are no frills but genuine African bush living in harmony with nature.
The bar is, as it should be, packed with cold beers, and sofas or a hammock or two so you can kick back and enjoy. Beside the bar is our swimming pool should you wish to take a dip and cool off, not far from yet another cold beer. Our braai/barbecue area is also located next to the pool and about three steps from the bar so you can have a barbecue, take a dip in the pool, a swig of your beer and embrace the freedom that Thobeka offers you.
Local amenities are in close proximity to our child-friendly African bush lodge where you can purchase food products and African souvenirs. A petrol station, a pharmacy and an ATM are also in the vicinity.
Our Accommodation
Providing self-catering accommodation in true African style, we offer twin rooms, double rooms, dormitories and family rooms. All guest rooms are built according to the Zulu tradition and connected by wooden walkways which allow you the privacy and space to kick back and enjoy uninterrupted relaxation time. Each room offers comfortable beds, mosquito nets and fans for those warm lazy afternoons and balmy African evenings. On the other hand, the wooden walkways lead to a fully fitted and well-stocked kitchen for self-catering, to hot showers and toilets, as well as to our swimming pool.
We also offer camping sites for tents, with electrical points, communal bathrooms, a kitchenette and barbecue facilities. Overnight facilities are available for roof tent campers, bush trailers and camper vans.
Evenings at Thobeka are reliant upon what you wish to experience. You could either sit or dance around the fire, beat your African drum, tell stories, have a kitchen party or relax and gaze at the twinkling African night sky and listen to the sound of nature.

Here in Kosi Bay you can explore the world - A beautiful blend of nature, ocean, underwater life, birdlife, lakes, forest and villages awaits you. Our activities are an amazing experience, ranging from game watching and horse riding to boat cruises and hiking. Absolutely recommendable! We love making memories with you. We pick you up at / bring you back to your accommodation in Kosi Bay and drive you to the destination at hand within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park.
