Coral Divers Dive Resort

Coral Divers Dive Resort

Indulge yourself in a relaxed adventure at Coral Divers. Our resort offers a range of accommodation, as well as a professional scuba diving charter and PADI 5 Star Dive Centre in Sodwana Bay. Conveniently situated, it offers the only Dive Centre located inside the iSimangaliso Wetland Park. Enjoy the surrounds of the lush natural bush, wildlife and beautiful sandy beach. Experience the warm Indian Ocean, pristine coastal forests and the abundant fauna and flora of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, both on land and in the ocean.

Our Accommodation

We offer 3 styles of accommodation inside the park. Choose the option that suits you best, ranging from the larger en-suite cabins, the standard cabins or the really affordable permanent safari tents.

While our air-conditioned en-suite cabins are set in lovely park-like surrounds and come with double, twin or triple bedrooms as well as tea / coffee making facilities and a mini fridge, the rustic standard cabins sleep two guests and are ideal for the budget conscious diver, who does not quite want to "rough it". The bathroom is private and placed adjacent to the cabin with a side entrance.

The third and our budget accommodation option are the safari tents. Enjoy a very social, friendly atmosphere, for when it is simply all about the diving and you just need somewhere to sleep. The tents are basic, but super affordable and are set in rows under a roofed structure to provide shelter from the elements, complete with two single beds. The nearby KZN Wildlife shared bathroom facility provides hot showers and toilets separately for ladies and gents.

Make yourself at home. Check in to Coral Divers and let us take care of the rest. You'll find our modern self-catering kitchen fully equipped with everything you need. Not keen to cook? Book our dinner and/or breakfast buffet and treat yourself. Enjoy our great menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even homemade treats. If you've run out of something, take a look at the Coral Pantry to stock up. We even have everything you need to enjoy a South African Braai (barbecue) in our Boma!

Our fully licensed Snack Shack stocks a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We serve the delicious artisanal Steampunk Coffee, just how you like it.

Our resort lends itself to relaxing with your family and friends on our sunny pool deck. With our Boma and bar close by, it is the perfect place to unwind. Stay connected with the rest of world and enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi vouchers, as well as the full bouquet of DSTV (satellite) channels on a large flat screen TV in the TV lounge; perfect to follow the latest in sports or for entertaining the little ones.

Our Winemaker

It all began one day in 2001 when the two friends, Hans and Bertus, came together to chat and share stories about farming, winemaking and the like. On this day, Hans asked Bertus if he would be keen to make a little wine for him. They went along and picked the grapes and Bertus then made the first wine, a hearty Cabernet Sauvignon. Theresa was casually informed about this little adventure of theirs. One day Hans walked through the door, presented her with this beautiful grape nectar and asked if she wouldn’t mind taking on the marketing and sales thereof. So that’s where it started.

It wasn’t a plan - it simply evolved from two friends playing around with their love of wine!

Bertus, the gentle giant winemaker, has a long history of winemaking and a stellar reputation in the industry. He is a passionate man and loves nothing more than to explore the endless possibilities in winemaking. “The human dimension of the wine industry is definitely one of the aspects that I love. I meet wonderful people, make wonderful friends and enjoy loads of laughs whenever I present a wine tasting or have a wine chat, which is probably 80% of the time. Making wine, selling wine, enjoying wine is all about quality relationships”. Bertus Fourie

Bertus is assisted by farm manager and cellar assistant Gert Pietersen nicknamed “Toffie”. He has been involved with the Britz family from the tender age of 16 where as a little school boy he would spend time observing and learning everything he possibly could from any of the senior farm men. With his calm temperament, leadership capabilities and keen eye for everything agricultural Toffie soon climbed the ranks and today manages the entire Under Oaks farm.

Our Facilities

And there is more. You can even stay at Under Oaks in our luxurious country house accommodation with a pool and marvelous panoramic views as well as indulge your taste buds further in our on-site pizzeria.
