Our Accommodation 

All individually decorated rooms have direct access to the 300 sqm terrace. The five spacious superior guest rooms come with a magnificent panoramic view, a terrace and high standard en-suite bathrooms. Modern conveniences range from free Wi-Fi, digital television channels, DVD player, tea/coffee making facilities and a laundry service to name a few. Free wireless Internet access is also available in the lounge area. 

We invite you to relax and switch off in our large garden with a pool. 

For golfers there is a putting and chipping green, a driving range as well as a practice bunker on our property. We play golf ourselves and will be glad to inform you about the perfect places to go! Knysna offers three world-class golf courses less than 5 km distance from Villa Mulligan. Our guests can play at reduced affordable Green Fees. We gladly arrange for all levels lessons with a PGA Pro at special conditions. With seven more excellent golfcourses in less than 50 km distance from our guesthouse, this is your ideal base for your golf holiday in South Africa.

Westlodge Bed & Breakfast 

A warm welcome to our holiday accommodation in Graskop. Our victorian-styled Westlodge Bed & Breakfast is perfectly situated, close to all of Mpumalanga’s top tourist attractions along the Panorama Route and less than an hour’s drive from the Phabeni gate of the Kruger National Park. 

Our Accommodation 

All our 6 guest suites and rooms are equipped with modern conveniences such as a heater, fans, a mini-bar and Satellite TV as well as a hospitality tray. Our two luxury and stylishly decorated garden suites are situated in a detached wing but connected to the main building by means of a covered verandah. The spacious bedrooms overlook our beautiful rose garden. 

There are also two luxury en-suite guest rooms situated on the first floor of the main house. Both are looking out onto the escarpment with the Fairyland Rain Forest to the north-east. A private lounge, furnished in cane, is situated between the two bedrooms which also opens up onto a balcony from which you can enjoy the view on a warm, balmy evening. 

For the romantic, we have a charming, secluded honeymoon suite at the rear, north-western corner of one of the buildings’ wings. Away from the road, it offers a quiet view of our beautiful gardens. Situated on the ground floor, at the end of a private verandah, this suite also offers an additional private entrance, and has a king-sized bed, a cast iron Victorian bath, a separate shower, two vanity hand basins, a separate WC and a bidet. 

Situated on the ground floor of the buildings’ north wing, our beautiful north-facing, luxury en-suite guest room features a bay window overlooking our peaceful gardens, and an additional private entrance onto the verandah as well. 

Activities 

The regions’ twisting mountain passes, steep valleys, rivers and pristine forests have given rise to some of the most dramatic views and stunning natural phenomena. Within a radius of about 50km you can visit numerous natural, spectacular sites. The mountainous terrain around Graskop offers unparalleled cycling, walking and hiking trails as well as numerous tranquil trout fishing sites. For the golf enthusiasts, there is a well maintained, 9-hole golf course set in the historic and beautiful surroundings of Pilgrims Rest. Also within an easy drive from our Westlodge Bed & Breakfast are the animal rehabilitation centres near Hoedspruit.

Wilde Avontuur 

Your ultimate, malaria-free Waterberg breakaway!  Located just 13km from the nearest town of  Vaalwater, the child-friendly Wilde Avontuur game lodge is the place to go if you need to relax or just get away from it all. The lodge has been built to blend in with the surroundings. The rock and thatch construction is beautifully done with local material being used throughout. Relax by the swimming pool, do a self-guided game walk, have a barbecue in our African Boma or a drink at our thatched bar and enjoy a trouble free holiday whilst soaking up the bushveld air and tranquil ambience. 

Our Accommodation 

There are 8 en-suite rooms that sleep 22 guests. Whilst one family unit comes with a kitchenette, the 7 other units share a fully equipped communal kitchen with gas hob and oven. Meals are available on request. Linen, towels, soap and shampoo are provided.
