Our Accommodation
Our executive suites are our most luxurious guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Center piece is the big bed, which is almost of a square size and can easily fit two. The spacious rooms come with personal fridge, satellite television, a desk, and one of the suites has a loung seating area as well.
Our classic suites offer a rich accommodation experience on a budget. Perfect for couples or the more demanding business traveller, they have everything you will expect such as en-suite bathrooms, a larger double bed, a laptop-friendly workspace and of course a TV. The honeymoon suite even features an outside bathtub and a shower, where you can enjoy a bath in a confined space of walls without anyone watching.
Our classic flats offer more space than anyone might ever need and are perfect for longer rentals or for guests with a lot of luggage. Along with the king size bed they offer a large lounge area where an additional 1 or 2 guests could sleep, as well as a kitchen with microwave and stovetop to prepare basic meals. Did you know that the founder of Zambia once slept in one of the flats? That's why some guests prefer to call it the presidential suite.
Our junior suites are our budget-friendly en-suite rooms, perfect for a nights stayover or for business travellers to the Kabwe area. But don’t think you will get anything less comfortable than in the other rooms. They also have a TV and a desk. If you are comfortable with living under a thatched roof, you will feel incredibly cozy in one of these suites.
Our safari suites have the most interesting layout and are housed in a large chalet with two floors. On the ground floor you can find the usual amenities. Up the ladder you will find an additional bed.
Our en-suite family units are the right choice not only for families but to people travelling on a budget, since the room price can be split. We offer both chalet style family suites as well as family rooms with the usual amenities. Pick your favorite!
The right choice for travellers who are just stopping by for a night and are on a budget, our permanent roof tent, which usually sits on a car, is set up on poles to accomodate up to two guests comfortably. Although it does not come with an en-suite bathroom we provide outside showers and bathrooms.
Our Facilities
At Kabwe Safari Lodge, we offer you a variety of different styles of food. Enjoy traditional meals such as Lumanda, Ifisashi or Impwa but also our main courses from the grill, including a variety of meats, fresh fish as well as chicken and quail. On top of that, we serve affordable starters, sandwiches as well as vegetarian and vegan options. Enjoy your meals from our main restaurant, the lounge, from the insaka near the pool or in the garden area. While the main restaurant can fit up to 30 guests, our lodge has a total seating capacity of around 62, excluding the bar.

Our family-friendly Malagas Hotel is a country hotel situated on the banks of the Breede River in the remote but easily accessible village of Malgas, also called Malagas, and overlooks one of the few ferries remaining in South Africa - a small pontoon ferry.
This is where time slows down to give you the relaxation and peace you need for a restful stay at the water's edge in South Africa's Overberg region, ca. a 2.5 hours drive from Cape Town. This tranquil setting within the Lower breede River Conservancy area attracts a vast variety of bird life. One of which is the protected Blue Crane (the national bird of South Africa) which can be spotted on the gravel road winding through the farmands leading to the hotel.
Our Accommodation
We have in total 32 bedrooms, including houseboats! Choose between double / twin and triple rooms as well as a large family room. All units at the hotel are equipped with modern amenities for your convenience such as a TV, a bar fridge and a tea/coffee station, to name a few. Apart from one small room each of our guest rooms has a patio or deck with a seating area.
Our Facilities & Activities
If you enjoy water sports you might want to explore the river in our 2-seater canoes, in pedalos (paddle boats) or on a cruise while you can identify the many birds in our area. If you would like to explore our region further we recommend a visit to the De Hoop Nature Reserve which is a 30 minutes drive away and offers e.g. game watching, seasonal whale watching, clear rock pools, hiking paths and mountain biking.
Other outdoor facilities include a volley ball net and a croquet set, trampolines and a jungle gym. In summer cool off in the pool or enjoy a refreshing drink on the terrace, in the colder winter evenings warm up by the fire in the dining room or in our fully licensed Moxie's pub.
We also offer an adult lounge with television and various board games and a kiddies lounge with various toys, games and children's movies.
There are also plenty seating areas in our hotel where you can enjoy something to eat or drink with lovely views of the river. Apart from the formal dining room our eating areas include a covered deck and outside terrace as well as an enclosed veranda (glasshouse). Our meals are best described as South African home cooking and dinners. Our hotel restaurant has some of the best cuisine in Tanzania, prepared and served with a personal and professional touch! The kitchen is well equipped to serve a variety of cuisines such as continental, Indian and African dishes. An à la carte menu, a buffet and light snacks will delight your taste buds and are available at reasonable prices. The warm inviting ambience of our restaurant offers a perfect atmosphere for entertainment to our guests. It is ideal for a coffee break where freshly ground and brewed espresso, cappuccino and filtered coffee are served. And last but not least, our well-equipped bar offers many varieties of both imported and local drinks, alcoholic or non-alcoholic. Feel free to order your favourite drink from our well trained staff.
Spion Kop Lodge
Experience an unmatched getaway between Ladysmith and Winterton. Situated on an expansive 700 hectare game farm, our Spion Kop Lodge is set against the backdrop of the majestic Drakensberg Mountains on the Kwazulu-Natal battlefields route. Our lodge offers visitors an awesome sense of space and beauty, supreme comfort and warm hospitality as well as the perfect base from which you are able to explore the battlefields, berg, bush and birds of this region of Kwazulu-Natal.
The turn of the century farmhouse has been beautifully restored in Natal colonial style. The converted barn now forms the magnificent dining room that boasts spectacular views. Guests savour fine cuisine and excellent service whilst appreciating the African landscape and battlefields.
Our Accommodation
We offer 9 luxurious, double en-suite guest rooms as well as two individually furnished and appointed Colonial style chalets which are located in the park-like grounds, each ensure luxury en-suite accommodation in an out-of-Africa setting, with the majestic Drakensberg mountains nearby. You have the choice between full board or self-catering facilities.
Cool down in the natural rock pool surrounded by water features. Enjoy a quiet drink at the pub or spend time in the historic library.
Activities
There are a multitude of activities on offer such as sunset boat cruises on the Spion Kop Dam and game viewing amongst rhinos, giraffes and a variety of antelopes as well as over 320 bird species.

Our well equipped conference venue near the Drakensberg offers exceptional packages and team building activities to suit all guests and ensure a successful conference in South Africa. The venue can accommodate up to 40 delegates. The lodge and game farm also offer an ideal wedding venue.
History
The Battlefields Experience - Relive the memories on the historic battlefields route and walk in the footsteps of three great leaders, Winston Churchill, Mahatma Gandhi and Geneneral Louis Botha. Your host, Raymond, or his son, Alastair, will accompany you to the many historic sights. Tours to the various battlefields can be made on horseback or in the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle.

The Swakopmund Plaza Hote also has a multi conference and event centre which is fully equipped with the latest technology and convertible into more than 30 setups and can cater for 6 to 240 people. The perfect venue for weddings, seminars, corporate functions, conferences, trade shows and all other kind of events. Sit down with our competent event co-ordinator and have a function tailor-made to your request. We are able to assist with accommodation and buffet meals as well when required.

Our Services
Our reception is open 24 hours, 365 days a year, with a night porter from 22h00 to 07h00. Accounting issues, special services and requests can be requested here before 22h00.

T'niqua Stable Inn
Come, relax and explore our picturesque surrounds on the Garden Route. Just 4 km outside town, T'Niqua Stable Inn offers bed and brekafast and self-catering accommodation in Plettenberg Bay on a beautiful horse estate. Heaven meets earth in our tranquil farm environment in a coastal green belt consisting of fynbos and proteas which makes for a wonderful beach and bush experience.
Our Accommodation
Our farm cottage is fully equipped for self-catering and consists of a double bedroom, a private bathroom, a kitchen and a veranda overlooking the garden with a barbecue facility. However, a full English breakfast is available on request.
Situated in the main house with a separate entrance, a standard en-suite double bedroom is also available.
The farmhouse has six rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and kitchenettes. The four double bedrooms downstairs open directly onto the central living area with a fireplace and braai facility that leads onto the garden. The two spacious family rooms upstairs provide a comfortable stay for up to four with breath-taking views of the Indian ocean. The farmhouse is also ideal for small weddings, any party functions, small conferences, team building exercises with the option of renting it as one unit which sleeps up to 16 people.
Guests are also welcome to enjoy the boma with a big fire in the evenings.
Activities
Enjoy trips on a restored farm-wagon drawn by our gentle Percheron horses to picturesque picnic spots. An eight minute walk to the Still Bay cliffs, the farm also offers hiking- and mountain bike trails with excellent bird-watching opportunities.
Dining
Welcome at our unique equestrian-themed Munching Cowboy Restaurant which is a contemporary, casual and bistro-type venue offering classic, flavourful food with an upscale flair. From reinvented traditional South African dishes and gourmet desserts to upscaled burgers, family-styled food, buffet dinners and light meals - the kitchen team is creative and dedicated to delivering a high quality meal in a casual and informal setting. While our guests may chose to dine at one of the many smaller tables, often our dinners are shared around the large banquet table in the main hall.
